2022 Legislative Session Calendar Released

The 2022 New York State Legislative Calendar was released today. Lawmakers are scheduled to meet in Albany for a total of 60 days, which is typical of recent years.

Session will officially begin on Wednesday, January 5. That also is when Governor Kathy Hochul will deliver her first State of the State address from the Assembly chamber.

The final scheduled session day is June 2, primarily due to the movement of Primary Elections to that month.
