NYSCOP submitted testimony regarding the federal response to the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on small businesses. The New York State Legislature held the virtual hearing on May 13, 2020 to examine the affect the pandemic is having on on the State’s small businesses and the adequacy of the federal response in light of the disproportionate impact on New York.
NYSCOP highlighted the impact the pandemic is having on small businesses that provide health coverage to their employees and reviewed the steps its member health plans are taking to support patients, health providers and small businesses during the crisis. The full testimony is available here.
