American Medical News
A weekly news magazine published by the American Medical Association for physicians. Visitors to this site may view stories published in the current issue and may browse a listing of featured articles published in past issues. Topics covered include health-care policy making, regulatory issues, market trends, significant business developments in the field of health care, technological developments and other current events of interest to physicians.

Health Affairs
This journal is dedicated to health care policy issues such the cost of health care, access to health-care services, insurance rates and the market behavior of health-care industry participants. Users can download full text copies of articles published in the current issue, search past issues of the journal and browse the Tables of Contents from past issues. Back issues and reprints of articles may be ordered for a fee.

Journal of the American Medical Association
JAMA offers articles discussing medical treatments and procedures, clinical studies, national health-care trends and statistics, and physician-related health-care issues. Users can obtain copies of articles published in the current issue of JAMA in PDF format free of charge and can search the JAMA archives. Abstracts of articles printed in past issues may be read free of charge and full text copies of the articles may be ordered for a fee.

New England Journal of Medicine
The NEJM, sponsored by the Massachusetts Medical Society, is a nationally known publication offering articles concerning medical treatment guidelines, procedures, clinical studies, and national health-care trends and statistics. Users can browse the current issue or search the Journal archives. Abstracts of articles published in the current issue or past issues may be read free of charge and full-text copies of the articles may be ordered for a fee.

Annals of Internal Medicine
Published by the American College of Physicians, Annals is the leading journal for studies in internal medicine. The publication offers background and discussion of issues that influence both physicians and patients. Visitors to this site may view the full text of articles published in the journal's current issue, browse the tables of contents from past issues and search the Annals archives.

ClinicalTrials.gov
Designed to provide patients, family members and members of the public current information about clinical research studies. Users can search a database by keyword or browse the database of clinical trials according to medical condition or trial sponsor. This site also contains links connecting to sites offering basic information explaining clinical trials, in-depth medical information concerning clinical trials, detailed information concerning NIH-sponsored research and general consumer information related to health care.

Dartmouth Atlas of Health Care in the United States
Visitors to this site may access portions of studies pertaining to physician supply, health-care utilization patterns and quality measurement done by the Center for the Evaluative Clinical Sciences at Dartmouth Medical School. The site also contains a listing of other available publications, software available for use with the Dartmouth data and ordering information.
